Working on a recently constructed high tech building near to Canary Wharf. The building meets the demand for high-quality, purpose-built data centre space. With so many of the worlds businesses relying on digital information, more and more companies recognised that outsourcing was the most efficient way of maintaining secure, efficient and cost-effective IT infrastructures. We therefore set out to develop attractive solutions for companies seeking to expand, relocate or upgrade their data centre environment. You will be part of the team maintaining such an environment.
With a background in building services maintenance your will have a thorough knowledge of all electrical applications related to UPS, power generation and general HVAC services though it would be ideal if you had some prior experience of business continuity, i.e. N+1, redundant capacity, etc....
The site calls for significant input into additional projects and plant modifications, therefore you will be called upon to manage both in-house labour and external subcontractors.
Salary negotiable, around Ј38,000 + car + benefits
